Hello, I'm
Anagha Srinivasan
I am 18 and I am currently studying in grade 12 at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School.
Welcome to my website!
These are shorts glimpses into the things I love doing most!
Happy Reading!
Swimming
Swimming has been one of my longest and most treasured commitments. I learnt swimming at 5, and represented the district at the State Championships at 9 for the first time, and almost every year after. I have also competed in various inter-school and inter-club competitions. My favourite events were the 100 and 200 backstroke, and I competed in these events most often. With the onset of the pandemic, I stopped swimming as much, but now am I going to the pool more frequently.

Dance
Dancing has also been one of my longest commitment, second only to swimming. I started learning Bharatanatyam when I was 7, and have been dancing ever since. I completed my Arangetram in 2019 and have had the opportunity to perform at the prestigious Chidambaram Natyanjali in 2020. I have also given annual stage performance, been a part of a dance-theatre production in collaboration with Balinese dancers, and performed at fund-raising events. I continued dancing online through the pandemic and found welcome solace in the escape it gave me

Social Work
Trinayani is an advocacy-based organisation for persons with disabilities. It hosts regular sensitisation workshops, inclusive events, and shares awareness-building content about the field. My friends and I started working with Trinayani at the beginning of last year. With the NGO, I organised and hosted monthly virtual inclusive events with our first in-person event post the pandemic taking place in April this year. Recently, I also worked on an algorithm that helps the NGO sort all their workshop registrations and send personalised reminder messages to the attendees before the event. We also initiated a series titles, ‘Not all Heroes Wear Capes’ to share the stories of persons with disabilities and created short films about the appropriate language of disability.
